Australia plans to join a free trade pact that spans the Pacific Ocean and aims to curb bilateral agreements between countries. Simon Crean, Australia s trade minister, told the Financial Times that Australia would join Brunei Darussalam, Chile, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States in the Trans Pacific Partnership TPP, a free trade agreement.
